Dear Friends,

During this chilly time of year, we call on family, friends and loved ones to help us through the final weeks of winter. It’s no wonder then, that some of the biggest celebrations of familial and romantic love fall on February. We celebrate Valentines Day to honour the light and warmth our companions bring to our lives. We take the opportunity to spend dedicated time with our parents, children and siblings on Family Day. On Chinese New Year, extended families come together to celebrate the biggest holiday in Chinese tradition with warm meals, colours and traditions. The people that see us through the coldest days are the most important feature of our lives, and the holidays of February remind us to focus on them.

Tu Bishvat

In Jewish tradition, Tu BiShvat celebrates the trees and rich plant life that populates the holy land and the entire globe. This year at Green & Green, we took some time to celebrate with traditional foods like fig, grape and nuts. See more about our festivities here.

Chinese New Year
