December 2018 Newsletter - WRAPPED
Wrapping up the year with Green & Green!
As the nights grow longer, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about how to spread light to your friends and loved ones. Most major religions have a festival of light in November or December. Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, started on November 7th and lasted for five brilliant days. Hanukkah is an eight day Jewish celebration of light from December 2nd through 10th. The advent to Christmas is full of candles and warmth, as are the five days of Kwanzaa at the end of December. These holidays are all also characterized by bringing together loved ones and giving presents.
At Green & Green, we want your holiday to shine brilliantly! Scroll down for unique gift ideas to make you stand out, tips for a reflective and peaceful holiday season, the Dos and Don'ts of holiday hosting (written by our friend Richard Johnson at Kent Employment Law) and the vital importance of ensuring your gifts are W.R.A.P.P.E.D.
Let us "Wow" them!

Find Peace this Holiday Season
End of year celebrations can connect us with those we love, however they can also generate lots of stress! Remember to be kind to everyone you encounter over the next few weeks. Share the spirit of generosity: hold the door, lend a hand, and smile as you greet your neighbours!
To manage holiday anxiety, we are thrilled to launch our Green Gratitude Challenge. Each day of December leading up to Christmas, we will offer a new idea to encourage self-reflection and growth. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to join us in our journey towards holiday contentment.
Holiday Party Dos and Don'ts
Our friend Richard Johnson at Kent Employment Law has some excellent tips for hosting this holiday season, particularly for employers celebrating the season with staff. His Dos and Don'ts list provides a helpful guide for ensuring your event is safe, respectful and festive!
Our Gifts Come Perfectly WRAPPED!
When approaching a custom gift order, we always use this handy mnemonic. We hope it can guide you to make sure all your gifts this year are a hit!
Wanted: Send something they want
Respectful: Send gifts that show care to people and the planet
Appropriate: Keep in mind the occasion when choosing a gift
Personalized: A personal touch makes your gift more meaningful
Presented Well: You only get one chance to make that first impression
Expressive: Choose a gift that communicates a message
Durable: Give something they can keep and remember you by
This is our busiest season here at Green & Green and our warehouse is filling up with baskets heading to local and international destinations. These gifts are ready to spread warmth and light across the globe, and we hope it reaches your home too.
All the very best,
