Beautifully carved, then hand cast and painted, made from a composite material. This Dogfish is 8 1/2 inch diameter, Canadian made.

This bowl is a contemporary representation of the bowl and serving pieces used during the potlatches and feasts held by the native people of the Northwest Coast. The Dogfish is a helpful spirit, a mediator between the spirit world and that of humans.
