About the Wine

Mission Hill Family Estate Reserve Merlot 2016 - A rich, enveloping merlot with great intensity and a pleasant vein of freshness. Full bodied, ripe but not too ripe with good quality new oak treatment that is on the path to integration. Notes of anise, pencil shavings, new leather and delicate exotic spice compliment the generous fruit flavours of black cherry and blackberry. Tannins are moderate and firm but not aggressive.
